Meet Stephanie White Carter Senior Consultant, Atlanta.
She brings over 17 years of fashion expertise to Icon [Be One]. She began her modeling career at the age of 15, and was a professional model for 13 years. After earning an initial bachelor’s degree in English, Stephanie returned to school and earned a dual bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and Marketing. She then went on to work for renowned fashion designer Louis Verdad, in Los Angeles.
Her experiences in wardrobe consulting, fashion design, fashion merchandising and styling has landed her in places like New York, Milan, Hong Kong and Shanghai; and she has had the opportunity to work with extraordinary people like Lucy Liu, Paris Hilton, Sugar Ray Leonard and Anthony Kiedis, along the way. Stephanie has been featured in the pages of the LA Times, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Modern Bride, and her styling can be seen in First for Women magazine as well as the Piedmont Review.
Stephanie has been with ICON [Be One] since its inception, and is proud of the extensive list of satisfied clients she has fashionably transformed. After graduating college, Stephanie decided she wanted to help and personally impact women and men in a more personal way. By teaching clients how to choose clothes, hairstyles and makeup best suited for their bodies and professions, she could have a lasting impact on their futures. Meet Ginger McGovern Senior Consultant, Austin.
Ginger McGovern comes to Icon [Be One] with over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, Ginger started her career as a fashion stylist for the Broadway Department stores in southern California. Being that fashion and merchandising are truly her passion she went on to become a Visual Merchandising Director for Macy’s Department Sores in Los Angeles, a position she held for 11 years. Continuing with Macy’s she was promoted to a regional position as a Trainer of In-store Presentation Standards (T.I.P.S.)
After moving to the San Francisco bay area, she left her many happy years in the retail world to teach Fashion at Brooks College in Sunnyvale California where in addition to which she embarked on another new career, using her Fashion and presentation skills with a slight twist she became an Event Planner.
During this time Ginger was also appearing on the Style Networks reality show entitled “Your Invited” creating beautifully themed party environments for an unsuspecting “guest”.
With all the aspects of the fashion industry Ginger has worked in she knows and as she is fond of saying “it’s all about the presentation” And that includes a person’s “personal” presentation. Meet Hiedi Elnora Senior Consultant, Birmingham.
.Heidi Elnora Standridge joins the Icon [Be One] team contributing a designer’s edge to fashion styling. A graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Heidi began her career designing children’s clothing for Carter’s in Atlanta. While working at Carter’s, Heidi was selected to be a contestant on the 2nd season of Project Runway. As a contestant on Project Runway, Heidi had the unique opportunity to show her style on a national scale. She received national coverage in USA Today, The New York Times, and Earnshaw Magazine, as well as local coverage from The Birmingham News, The Birmingham Weekly, NBC 13, FOX 6, and other related media. After Project Runway and as of August 2006, Heidi decided to move to her hometown and start her own label, Heidi Elnora. Currently Heidi’s work can be seen in The Knot, Alabama Weddings Magazine, as well as I Do for Brides Magazine,
Heidi uses her design background not only to create beautiful garments but also to create a higher awareness of style for the everyday person. Heidi states, “You don’t have to spend a million dollars to look a million dollars. Most people don’t realize that they are only missing a few key items, which are needed to pull off a lot of different looks. I am not one to throw away clothes but more to recycle clothes that I currently have. Meet Julie Peterson Senior Consultant, Denver.
Julie Peterson joins the Icon [Be One] team with extensive experience in fashion and styling. She has a degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. After graduating she went on to work on major films such as the Academy Award winning Ray, numerous nationally televised shows, commercials, and national print ads. Her work can be seen in several publications such as Razor , InStyle and Lucky .
After years of working in the industry Julie knew her real passion was working one on one with people helping them create their own best personal style. She started teaching courses on wardrobe/styling, hair, make-up, and nutrition. She’s worked with both men and women helping them pull together an image that makes them feel both confident and successful. Her clients have ranged from CEO’s, company President’s, musicians, dance teams, to pageant participants. Also, her personal experience in the beauty pageant circuit has given her a wider range of fashion knowledge.

Meet Erika Chloe Senior Consultant, Philadelphia.
Erika Chloe Grundland joins the Icon [Be One] team with an extensive background in fashion and Textile Design. She graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City with a BFA in Fabric Styling. Her universal fashion sense has led her to work in cities all over the world including Antwerp, Berlin and Milan. Erika’s designs can be found in several retail stores including Bloomingdales, Lord & Taylor and Macy’s. She currently has her own custom clothing label which includes “made to measure” suites and shirts with showrooms in NYC and Philadelphia.
Erika modeled for Icon Model Agency and gained diverse knowledge with make-up, hair trends and many fashion/style attributes that contribute to overall personal composition. After she graduated college, she decided she wanted a more creative career in fashion. She began working for Harper’s Bizarre where she got first hand knowledge of high-end fashion houses, designers, shoes, and accessories. After several years working in editorial, Erika finally decided to gain recognition as a designer.
As a designer, she has a wealth of knowledge including fabric construction, garment design, garment construction, technicalities, trends, and an excellent eye for color. She believes that no matter what the outcome is, there is always room for improvement.

Meet Jennifer Sellen Senior Consultant, Seattle.
She comes to Icon [Be One] with a wide range of talents and knowledge in the areas of fashion, beauty and 13 years of style experience. She began her career in fashion at the age of 16, working at a fashion and gift boutique. Pursuing her passion she attended the University of Washington art college, where she obtained a bachelors degree in fine arts. Shortly after, she attended Washington State University and earned a Masters degree in Apparel Merchandising Textiles and Design. Throughout these years, Jennifer’s grasp of fashion became even stronger as she was an active contestant in three beauty pageants and while she was attending graduate school, she was the visual coordinator for Macy’s in Moscow, Id.
Jennifer has a custom couture and fashion design line called J. Ashley Sellen Couture and is well versed in cosmetic artistry. Her work is in boutiques that were recently featured in the pages of Lucky Magazine and the Seattle P.I. and was also recently seen on the catwalk at the Paramount Theatre in the annual fashion show for a non-profit organization.

Meet Callista Wilson Senior Consultant, Boston.
Callista Wilson joins the Icon [Be One] team with extensive experience in fashion and styling. At a young age she started out attending beauty school and became a licensed beautician and went to work on 5th Avenue in New York City for celebrity haven, Elizabeth Arden’s Red Door Day Spa. Meet Lauren Wielgolewski Senior Consultant, Chicago.
She brings over 10 years of fashion expertise to Icon [Be One] ranging from visual display to merchandising and styling. Lauren graduated from Purdue University and the prestigous Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City with a Bachelor’s Degree in Retail Management coupled with an Associate’s Degree in Fashion Buying and Merchandising. Having an excellent eye for color and style, she began her career working for Lord & Taylor in the visual merchandising department. After excelling there, she made a move into the wholesale side of fashion where she currently works as a liaison between her company’s showroom, buyers from reputable department stores such as Nordstrom, Macys, Bloomingdale’s, and Lord & Taylor, and the retail market of the stores.
