Meet Hiedi Elnora Senior Consultant of the Atlanta and Birmingham Icon [Be One] team contributing a designer’s edge to fashion styling. A graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Heidi began her career designing children’s clothing for Carter’s in Atlanta. While working at Carter’s, Heidi was selected to be a contestant on the 2nd season of Project Runway. As a contestant on Project Runway, Heidi had the unique opportunity to show her style on a national scale. She received national coverage in USA Today, The New York Times, and Earnshaw Magazine, as well as local coverage from The Birmingham News, The Birmingham Weekly, NBC 13, FOX 6, and other related media. After Project Runway and as of August 2006, Heidi decided to move to her hometown and start her own label, Heidi Elnora. Currently Heidi’s work can be seen in The Knot, Alabama Weddings Magazine, as well as I Do for Brides Magazine,
Heidi uses her design background not only to create beautiful garments but also to create a higher awareness of style for the everyday person. Heidi states, “You don’t have to spend a million dollars to look a million dollars. Most people don’t realize that they are only missing a few key items, which are needed to pull off a lot of different looks. I am not one to throw away clothes but more to recycle clothes that I currently have. Meet Julie Peterson Senior Consultant.
Julie Peterson joins the Icon [Be One] team with extensive experience in fashion and styling. She has a degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. After graduating she went on to work on major films such as the Academy Award winning Ray, numerous nationally televised shows, commercials, and national print ads. Her work can be seen in several publications such as Razor , InStyle and Lucky .
After years of working in the industry Julie knew her real passion was working one on one with people helping them create their own best personal style. She started teaching courses on wardrobe/styling, hair, make-up, and nutrition. She’s worked with both men and women helping them pull together an image that makes them feel both confident and successful. Her clients have ranged from CEO’s, company President’s, musicians, dance teams, to pageant participants. Also, her personal experience in the beauty pageant circuit has given her a wider range of fashion knowledge.

Meet Jennifer Sellen Senior Consultant, Seattle. She comes to Icon [Be One] with a wide range of talents and knowledge in the areas of fashion, beauty and 13 years of style experience. She began her career in fashion at the age of 16, working at a fashion and gift boutique. Pursuing her passion she attended the University of Washington art college, where she obtained a bachelors degree in fine arts. Shortly after, she attended Washington State University and earned a Masters degree in Apparel Merchandising Textiles and Design. Throughout these years, Jennifer’s grasp of fashion became even stronger as she was an active contestant in three beauty pageants and while she was attending graduate school, she was the visual coordinator for Macy’s in Moscow, Id.
Jennifer has a custom couture and fashion design line called J. Ashley Sellen Couture and is well versed in cosmetic artistry. Her work is in boutiques that were recently featured in the pages of Lucky Magazine and the Seattle P.I. and was also recently seen on the catwalk at the Paramount Theatre in the annual fashion show for a non-profit organization.
Her extensive experience in the fashion design and beauty industry partnered with her upstanding education in fashion design, will insure that each client is not only satisfied but is truly excited and will have gained a greater sense of self. Meet Erin Kosmo Senior Consultant, Houston of Icon [Be One] has over 20 years in the fashion industry. Starting her career as a model, she traveled the world and worked for clients such as Giorgio Armani and Gianni Versace. After years of modeling, Erin taught runway, wardrobe and styling classes for various modeling schools in and around Houston. Straight from modeling and teaching she moved into fashion styling and merchandising. Erin worked for May Department stores in their advertising department as a stylist for five years. After her stint at May Department Stores she moved into the Agency spectrum and worked as a head fashion booker for two years. She is currently working as a freelance fashion and prop stylist, shooting commercials, editorials and lifestyle photo shoots for numerous clients in the Houston area.

As a fashion design graduate from the International Academy of Design, Melissa Nicole Buck garnered the fundamentals of design, drape and fit. After graduating, she began her career as a makeup artist with Mac Cosmetics in 2001, although she loved it, she found her
passion was and always lied with fashion and styling. Throughout the past 8 years, she's weaved her way through the fashion and merchandising industry, getting her hands dirty in everything from window dressing, costume design, to fashion styling for magazines,
catalogs and advertisements. Some of her clients have included Garnet Hill Catalog, DKNY.com, J.Crew Catalog, Houghton Mifflin Book Publishing Co., Candies Clothing, Marshalls, TJMaxx, and Lush magazine to name a select few.
Melissa continues to passionately work with styling and still pictures, and after a move to New York City in 2007; she has been able to add moving pictures to her resume, including commercials, television series and a few big budget films. Meet Callista Wilson Senior Consultant, Boston joins the Icon [Be One] team with extensive experience in fashion and styling. She studied fashion merchandising and fine arts in college, and after graduating she worked as a visual display and merchandise specialist for several major retailers in the Boston area. In the Boston area she has worked on shoots for Fashion Boston, the Boston globe, and Boston magazine. Her work appears in national publications as well; Urb magazine, Modern Bride, and numerous catalogues including J. Crew. She has spent the past two seasons of fashion week in NYC working on shows such as Bill Blass, Richard Chai, Zac Posen, Jonathan Saunders, Diane Von Furstenburg, Anna Sui, and Marc Jacobs.

Meet Missy Heckman Senior Consultant, Los Angeles. She brings over 15 years of fashion expertise to Icon [Be One]. At a young age she started out attending beauty school and became a licensed beautician and went to work on 5th Avenue in New York City for celebrity haven, Elizabeth Arden’s Red Door Day Spa. She soon realized her passion for fashion and attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Buying and Merchandising with a Minor concentration in Visual Design.
Missy then went onto fashion styling work for print magazines including Fairchild Publications in which she was later asked to write for the publication in the areas of fashion and beauty. Buyers, models, photographers and the fashion elite have had the opportunity to witness her work firsthand on the runways of New York City Fashion Week. Missy previously worked as a fashion stylist for the 7th on 6th fashion shows for 7 years. Currently Missy resides in Los Angeles where she works as an image and public relations consultant for fashion designer and beauty brands both nationally and internationally.

Meet Lauren Wielgolewski Senior Consultant, Chicago. She brings over 10 years of fashion expertise to Icon [Be One] ranging from visual display to merchandising and styling. Lauren graduated from Purdue University and the prestigous Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City with a Bachelor’s Degree in Retail Management coupled with an Associate’s Degree in Fashion Buying and Merchandising. Having an excellent eye for color and style, she began her career working for Lord & Taylor in the visual merchandising department. After excelling there, she made a move into the wholesale side of fashion where she currently works as a liaison between her company’s showroom, buyers from reputable department stores such as Nordstrom, Macys, Bloomingdale’s, and Lord & Taylor, and the retail market of the stores.
Lauren loves being in Chicago, a city where fashion is definitely a growing force in people’s everyday lives. She has two firm beliefs: one, that clothes must fit perfectly, and two, that a truly interesting wardrobe consists of a mixture of different fabrics, colors, and designers.
